EduLearn ("the Platform") is operated by Organixer Ligh. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

2. Data We Collect

Data stored on your device only

EduLearn stores the following information exclusively in your browser's localStorage — it never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

Your display name (if provided)
Your theme preference (light / dark-blue / dark-red)
Your quiz attempt history and scores
Your admin session token (if applicable)

Because this data is stored only on your device, clearing your browser data will remove it permanently.

Data stored on our servers

The following content is stored in our managed database to power the platform:

Course information (name, description, icon)
Study guides (title, content)
Quizzes and quiz questions

No personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or IP addresses is stored on our servers.

3. Cookies

EduLearn does not use cookies. All user preferences are stored via the browser's localStorage API, which requires no cookies and generates no tracking identifiers.

4. Third-Party Services

EduLearn is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may collect standard server access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for operational and security purposes. Please review Netlify's Privacy Policy for details. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

On-device data persists until you clear your browser storage or use your browser's privacy mode. Server-side content (study guides, quizzes) is retained until manually deleted by an administrator.

6. Children's Privacy

EduLearn is designed for school students and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Because no PII is collected by the platform, EduLearn is inherently safe for users of all ages.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Delete all on-device data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage
Use the platform without providing any personal information
Request deletion of any server-side content by contacting an administrator

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
